"Hobo Burgers": The Perfect Grilling-out Recipe
Summer is here and that means grilling-out with friends and family. Grilling recipes are designed to give the host more time with guests as this recipe lovingly-named, "Hobo Burgers."
Start your "Hobo "Burger" mix with
- 2 POUNDS OF GROUND CHUCK. 1 VIDALIA SWEET ONION. 2 BELL PEPPERS. 2 PODS-GREEN GARDEN PEPPER/MILDLY HOT. 1 CUP-HEINZ WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE. 1 1/2 CUPS-OLD FASHIONED QUAKER OATS.
- in a wooden bowl, miz the ground chuck and slowly add the diced sweet vidalia onion, bell and garden pepper, Quaker oats, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix 10 minutes
- place 'Hobo Hamburger' patties on the grill, with space between them to allow heat to get to them as you turn them gently every five minutes and DO NOT CHAR-BURN the patties.
- 5 minutes before you take the hamburger patties off of the grill, use single-sliced Kraft American cheese to place on patties.
