"Homemade lasagna"

Ingredients: Meat sauce

1 pd. ground beef

1 pd. pan sausage

1/2 cup chopped bell peppers

1/2 cup chopped onions

2 garlic cloves crushed

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. blk.pepper

1 can tomatoe paste

1 tbs.chili powder

3 cups water

3 tsp.sugar

1 tsp. dry basil

1 tsp. Italain seasoning

1/2 oregano

Direction to prepare.

Put ground beef , sausage, bell pepper, onions, garlic salt, pepper in large pot on medium heat and cook until all ingredients are done. then add tomatoe paste, water, basil, Italain seasoning, oregano, sugar, chili powder. let simmer for about 15 minutes. and trun off heat.

Ingredients: Lasagna noodles

Put on large pot with water about half full, put on high fire until starts to boil then add noodle. try not to break noodles, let noodle stand in pot until ends are soft enough to put whole noodle down in pot and let cook. cook noodle and stir until done. pour off water and put noodle in colander, run cool water over noodles. drain and put on wax paper alternater wax paper and noodles until all noodle are on wax paper.

Ingredients: Egg and cheese mixture

6 eggs beaten

2 cups ricotta cheese

2 cups cheddar cheese

1 tbs.dry parsley

1 cup parmesan cheese

Directions to prepare Cheese- egg mixture;

In large bowl add cheeses except for parmesan, eggs, dry parsley. mix well together to make ingredients blend through out. set aside.

Direction to combine all Ingredients:

In a large oblong dish, alternate noodles, meat sauce, cheese mixture, noodles, meat sauce,cheese mixture until you finish with meat sauce on top. if you have anymore egg mixture cover the meat sauce, then sprinkle the top with he pamesan cheese and cook until slightly brown, chessy and bubbly. This a good lasagna, never had any compliants.
