Hot, Spicy and Sticky Chicken Recipe for the Grill!
Just in Time for The Super Bowl
Ok this will serve 4 and I have to worn everyone, once you get started with this chicken you cannot stop, it's sssooooooooooo goooooooooood!
1 chicken 3-4lbs cut up
1 cup of cider vinegar
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp of worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black peper
1 tsp of hot pepper sauce or if you really like it hot chop up a habano hot pepper
3/4 cup of barbecue sauce ( I used the one with honey in it)
Wash chicken in lime and water then rinse. Place chicken in storage plastic bag along with vinegar, chili powder, worecestershire sauce, salt. black pepper and hot pepper sauce, seal bag. Put the bag in the fridge for about 3-4 hours or better yet overnight if you can.
Get grill ready by lightly oiling the grid to prevent sticking. Place the dark meat pieces on the grill for 10 minutes before the white meat pieces, as they take longer to cook. Grill chicken on covered grill for about 35-45 minutes turning every so often and baste with the marinate. Chicken is done when the meat by the bone is no longer pink.
