How To Make Barbecue Sauce
Onions 100 g
Celery 100 g
Red peppers 50 g
Green peppers 50 g
Tomatoes 500 g
Mushrooms 50 g
Oil 25 ml
Cornflour 25 g
Paprika 25 g
Sugar 50 g
Worcester sauce 50 g
Brown stock 500 ml
1. Peel and finely chop the onions. Blanch and finely
dice the tomatoes. Remove the seeds and cores from
the red and green pepper. Slice the mushrooms. Peel
and finely dice the celery and crush the garlic.
2. Heat a little oil in a pan, add the onions, crushed garlic,
celery and peppers and saute until tender.
3. Add the tomatoes, mushrooms, stock, sugar and
seasonings. Bring to the boil and simmer for 30
