How To Make Cheesy Tuna Patties
I decided to try and make tuna patties for a change one day, I thought it would be a much more healthier alternative to the traditional hamburgers . I also was in a bit of a rush that day and wasn't too sure on what I should make that would be fast, easy, and wasn't some kind of junk food. So here is the simple recipe I thought up on a whim, enjoy!
Ingredients You'll Need
- 1 can of tuna
- half tsp lemon juice
- salt and pepper to taste
- half tsp crushed chilis (optional)
- bread or buns of your choice
- garlic and herb cream cheese
- 1 egg
- olive oil
Directions (serves 2)
Open up the can of tuna and empty it out into a bowl, add the salt, pepper, crushed chilis and lemon juice.
Crack the egg into the bowl and mix the ingredients well.
Once it's all mixed together form the tuna into two patties put a piece of cheddar cheese inside the middle of the patties.
Turn stove on to medium heat and add oil to skillet, when skillet is hot add your patties.
Cook patties for 5-6 minutes on each side.
Spread herb and garlic cream cheese onto the cheese bread or buns and put the patty on.
