Crispy Baked Chicken Instructions
Mix all dry ingredients together and put in one bowl. Mix hot sauce with butter milk in one bowl. Place crushed cornflakes in on bowl. You will be preparing one piece of chicken at a time. You will have to rinse your hands frequently. Do leave a little room between each piece. Use two pans if you must to avoid over crowding.
- Wash 2-3 lbs of chicken parts. Breast, legs, or thighs.
- Roll chicken if flour and make sure you coal all areas well.
- Dip chicken in buttermilk. This will make a paste like coating to hold the cornflakes
- Roll chicken in cornflakes on all edges. This is what makes the magic!
- Place onto pan leaving enough room to cook evenly on the sides
- Repeat until done.
I like to taste the dry flour with seasoning to let me know when I'm finished. You will be tempted to dip the chicken in the wet mix first, don't. Remember to rinse your fingers often to avoid a mess.
