How To Save Money in Restaurants, Movie Theaters, and Carnival Concession Stands for food and tickets prices

Tips On How To Save Money At Restaurants and Concession Stands

Are you getting tired of having to spend so much money at concession stands? The prices of concession stands at carnivals, movie theaters and amusement parks are very expensive. Heck, even prices at restaurants can be outright ridiculous. It's no wonder some people try to sneak snacks and drinks into movies and carnivals all the time. However, it's not the establishment's fault, as they're just running a respectable business. After all, most of their money is made from those sales to keep in business. Having said that though, there are few good things people can do to save money without resorting to sneaking food and drinks inside such places.

Often times, unless the establishment is one of those small "mom and pop" places, then they're likely to always to have deals going on, and they'll have websites where you can find out about how to save money eating at those places. Take most movie theaters for instance. In the current internet age, almost every movie theater has a website in which you can go to find out how to take advantage of great deals, they might have going during specific weeks. In fact, some theaters  have memberships cards you can get, if you like to see movies all the time at the theater. How they work is for every dollar you spend with them via tickets and/or snacks, you earn reward points. Points that could accumulate to getting free stuff like free movie tickets or snacks/drinks. Plus, they're free to sign up for, and it only takes a few minutes to get them.

Even check your local paper and internet sites to many of your favorite places, to find out what deals they might be offering. If your unsure what the site address is, just call and ask them, or just google it on your computer. It's easier than you might think, and you'll save a lot of money in the process.

Yes, rewards points are the most common way to save some $$$s. Up here, North of the 49, restaurants bundle their meals with movie theatre tickets (regardless of the show) along with concession treats (popcorn and a drink) for a sweet deal. It's the "dinner and a show" concept, and has taken off very well here.

It's great to see that you haven't left. Miss ya loads. xoxo
