Indian Spiced Salmon

 These days eating right has become a main concern in every day life, I remember my doctor saying to eat right and live long, and I believe we can still do that and still have great taste at the same time and one way to do that is with seafood, It's one of mother natures great secrets and the seafood I'm talking about is Salmon its meaty flaky and has great flavor. Now what I want to do for you is add some Indian spices in this salmon to take the flavors to another level so come on lets this journey begin.

This meal is super simple and takes only 45 minutes to make from start to finish.

Ingredients

4 5 to 6 oz salmon fillets

1 tablespoon of olive oil

1/2 cup of dice onion

1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon of tomato paste

1 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes

1 teaspoon garam masala spice mix

Directions

1. Preheat your indoor or out door grill to a medium-high 350 to 400 degrees, brush salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Place salmon fillets skin side down on the grill or place on a grilling plank, grill covered for 10 to 12 minutes or until fish flakes easy without a fork about 145 degrees temp.

2.Four sauce, in a large skillet heat oil over medium heat. Add onions and cumin; cook and stir 5 minutes, add garlic; cook and stir 2 more minutes, add tomato paste; cook and stir until oils in the tomato paste separate

3. Stir in tomato and a 1/2 cup of water; bring to boiling,then reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes Stir in garam masala spoon the sauce over the fillets and serve

This is a spicy dish and it can serve 4 hungry people so enjoy!.
