Jambalaya with Chicken and Sausage


20 ounces of vegetable broth

1 onion finely chopped

1 cup rice

1 cup of frozen peas.

2 chicken breast, cubed

2 ttbsp of vegetable oil or butter

2 stalks of chopped celery

1 cup cooked sliced sausage

1 chopped tomato

hot sauce to taste

black pepper to taste


Cook rice in broth. In the last minutes add the peas. Set aside. Saute chicken in oil or butter. Add the celery. Reduce heat and add sausage, rice mixture and hot pepper sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.
