Ingredients:

  • Low sodium chicken broth - 2 cups
  • Water - 2 cups
  • Onions - 1 diced
  • Carrots - 1/2 cup sliced
  • Celery - 2 chopped
  • Parsnips - 1/4 cup
  • Egg noodles - 3oz
  • Cooked chicken breast (Rotisserie) - 1 cup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Chicken noodle soup recipe:

In a large pot bring chicken and water to boil. Reduce heat to medium and add onions, celery, parsnips, and carrots. Cover and cook for 15 minutes. Add egg noodles and allow to cook for 15 minutes or until noodles are cooked. Finally add chicken and cook for 5 more minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
