Magic Dream Bars chocolate and coconut bar cookie
This bar cook is easy to make and doesn't even need a bowl. The cookie will remain fresh for 3 or 4 days, but they probably won't last that long anyway. I had taken this to office Christmas parties and they go fast.

1 stick butter (1/2 CUP)
1 1/2 Cups crushed graham crackers
1 Cup (CAN) sweetened condensed milk
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 Cup shredded coconut
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut up butter and put in 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Melt the butter in the oven. Make sure you keep an eye on it as it melts quickly.
In the meantime, put graham crackers in a ziploc bag. Take a rolling pin and beat the crackers until they are in crumbs. You can use a food processor instead if you want. You need to end up with mostly crumbs, but a few larger pieces are okay.
Mix the crumbs into the hot butter at the bottom of the pan. Press down the crumb mix evenly over the bottom to make the bottom layer of the cookie.
Pour the milk evenly over the bottom layer. Next sprinkle the chocolate chips, then the nuts and top with the coconut.
Press down firmly over the cookie and bake until light brown, about 25 to 30 minutes. Cool before cutting.
