Mango and Strawberry Smoothie Recipe
Delicious Refreshing Smoohie
Being a vegan does not mean that you cannot enjoy rich, sweet flavours. This delicious mango strawberry and mint smoothie is the perfect drink on a summer day. It is refreshing as well as very healthy and ideal to drink for breakfast with the addition of organic oats or raw almonds.
What you need:
1 cup of chopped frozen strawberries
½ cup chopped frozen mango
1 sprig of fresh mint leaf
Add 1/3 cup organic oats or raw almonds if you want something more filling for breakfast or lunch
Place the strawberries into the blender first and pulse until smooth. Once you are happy with the consistency of the strawberries you can add the mango to the mixture. Blend on full power until smooth. Now, add the mint sprig and blend again. If you want something more creamy and rich, you can add 1/3 cup of organic oats or raw almonds. If you want your smoothie to be room temperature rather than freezing cold then you do not have to put your fruit in the freezer, you can just take them straight from the fruit bowl or fridge.
Tip: You can add other berries such as raspberries or blueberries.
