Day 4 Raw Food Diet

This is day four on my raw food diet, I said I would do daily updates so here I am again! I decided to go ahead and start a blog and YouTube channel about my weight loss journey because I know that if I don't do something like this, I will never lose the weight. I need support! Yes I need constant support and advice and tips from people who are doing the same thing so why not put myself out there right? Right, well I have taken the plunge, the blog is nothing fancy, it is just a place where I can document my journey and eventually I will change it up and it will become a fully fledged raw food lifetstyle blog.

Anyway today, for breakfast I had cup of raw peanuts, a banana, one large glass of water with lemon juice. I didn't feel hungry this morning at all so I had a small breakfast. For lunch I had a really large salad with lettuce, cucumber, tomato and an olive oil and mango dressing that I made myself. I had two bananas with nutmeg for dessert. So, far I have not felt hungry and I have not had any cravings at all for junk food. I think today is the day for me where something has actually clicked in my brain. My body is telling me it no longer needs potato chips, chocolate, biscuits, French fries and everything else I was eating in the past. My body is telling me it needs and wants, water and lots of it. Fresh fruits and vegetables and nuts and seeds. Sounds like a really really boring diet doesn't it? Well, to be honest I thought the same thing but I have found out that there are loads of different recipes out there to choose from. I am very excited to be doing this raw vegan diet. I have not weighed myself yet, I will do that when I get home as right now I am at my parents house and there is no scale here.

My son and I just started eating healthier...I read a hub once about how snacks like chips and cookies have ingredients that actually can lead you to a sort of addiction, in certain cases. Your body will literally crave the snack at whatever time your body is used to consuming it. My sister use to stay up late and would snack on sweet and salty snacks on a regular basis for years. Even now she will wake up at odd hours, usually on nights she tosses and turns, and snack for 5 minutes and go back to sleep. But you CAN get your body back into healthy, natural eating habits, so its a good thing you are eating healthy. Good luck on your venture! Sounds like you are doing well so keep it up!
