Juice is so simple ,Its good and easy to prepare add beyond all it tastes great .This makes it a hit all round the year .we all know drinking the real fresh juice is better than sugary alternatives ..Though juices are great still we must be aware of certain things lets deal it in questions and answer them :

Can we drink as much juice we want?

No we mustn't .try and get into the habit of drinking water to fulfill our liquid requirement .and try and eat fruits in it's natural form .and opt for fresh juice as an occasional healthy treat .we need to keep in mind that juices are concentrated form of fruit , if we eat fruits we just eat our daily requirement which is of two fruits a day but when we drink juice we consume more calories without fiber .

Should we drink fruit juice every day ?

If you do so then remember your daily requirement of 2 fruits so stick to that requirement and blend the fiber and drink along with it as your body need fiber too .

Whats the best choice for a daily juice habit?

Have small vegetable juice or add some vegetables to the fruit juice .The ideal choice is carrot apple ,and ginger blended with only one fruit .Carrots are sweeter but low in calories and have half the charbs of a fruit Celery is also low calorie filler you can add some bottle gourd it is healthy and have lots of health benefits .

Should we use extractors or blenders to squeeze juice?

Use blenders as you need fiber if you use extractors they will provide you with smoothies but without important fiber removed .

Is juice good for kids ?

Large amounts of juice can give kids diarrhea,its good if kids drink water . Having juice everyday may give your child a lifetime sweet tendencies.Juice should be occasional so try and make your child eat fruit rather than having juice .

So be careful before you form habits of anything do not let the habit be heavy on you rather you be heavy on your habit ,Check what is good for you and what not .

Here are some recipes for you:

MIX FRUIT JUICE

1 cup watermelon plup

1/2 cup pomegranate

juice of 2 sweet lime

a pinch of pepper powder

a pinch of cumin seed powder

a pinch of salt /black salt

Blend al the fruits together and serve with crushed ice

garnish with mint leaves

MANGO MOCK TAIL:

Pulp of 3 mangoes

2 pineapple slices

1 cup tomato puree

A pinch of green cardamom powder

Blend all together in a blender and serve with crushed ice ,garnish with orange or sweet lime segments

ORANGE ENERGY BOOSTER

1 Orange peed

1 lemon peed

4 spinach leaves

4 string beans chopped

2 carrots

1 peach pulp

Blend and serve with some ice

COCONUT &CITRUS PUNCH

juice of 2 oranges

juice od 2 sweet limes

one glass coconut water

Blend all and serve with crushed ice and garnish with a slice of sweet lime.

BANANA SHAKE:

One banana peed

1 tsp honey one cup low fat milk or soy milk

1/2 cup yogurt

add ice and blend and serve

THINGS TO REMEMBER :

  • Include the stems and leaves of vegetables because they are high in vitamins and mineral content ,avoid carrot tops as they cause kidney stones .
  • Always wash fruits and vegetables before using them as they may contain bacteria or chemicals on it
  • Drink juice within one hour of preparing it .or it might get oxidized and develop sour taste
  1. include the white inner skin of a citrus fruits they have bio flavonoids which are beneficial for health .
  • add lemon juice to help preserve the natural color and reduce oxidation of essential nutrients
  • If you want to loose weight then drink only vegetable juices such as bottle gourd juice ot tomato juice .

vivekananda,thanks again for giving some time to read this article hope it would help many .one more thing about fruits that I for got to include is that they should be consumed before meals and not after meals, as they are acidic in nature and may form gastric in stomach .
