2 Easy!

Hello, I had cooked this breakfast for myself recently and wanted to share with you how easy it is. It is one of my favorite breakfasts and is so delicious! I think eggs get a bad rap in today's world with all of the monitoring of cholesterol and calories. While I will admit that this is a high fat content breakfast I will point out that my grandparents lived to be in their 80's and were raised in an age where rendered pork fat, eggs and pork meat were a large part of their diets. They never took cholesterol medications so I am sure there is another story there (maybe the additives in our foods today are the culprit?)! Anyway, let's get into how easy this breakfast is!

My 2-2-2-2 Breakfast

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 ham slices
  • 2 pan sausage
  • 2 pieces of bread
  • butter
  • cooking oil or spray
  • jelly
  • jam
  • hot sauce

Spray a small skillet with cooking oil and place over medium high heat. Place the sausage in the skillet and cook, turning frequently until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and and keep warm. Place the ham slices in skillet and repeat the process, removing ham when cooked to your liking. There should be some grease from the sausage accumulated in the skillet now. Add in the eggs and cook to your liking. Toast the bread slices and butter them. Place your breakfast on a plate and serve with your favorite jelly or jam, hot sauce, coffee and/or orange juice!

As I said this is a very easy breakfast to make and eat. I have even served it for dinner! What, you have never had breakfast for dinner? Well if you haven't you should try it soon!

Remember to have fun while cooking and entertaining!

Thanks!

Bubba
