My Problem With The Rabbit Corkscrew

What Is A Rabbit Corkscrew?

Before we get into just what a Rabbit Corkscrew is, let's take a minute and talk about corkscrews in general.

Do you have any idea just how many types of corkscrews exist?

That was a trick question because there are only a few different TYPES of corkscrews:

(1) the common T-handle with a single or double "worm"

(2) the double lever angel" or "butterfly" corkscrew

(3) and then there are all combination tools and gadgets that are designed to remove corks from bottles.

The first two types mentioned are very common corkscrews and there is a good chance that you have a version of one or both in a kitchen drawer as we speak.

The third type of corkscrew mentioned is where the line spikes off the chart.

This group of "cork removers" is vast and includes devices that may not even employ a "screw" to remove the cork, however this is by far the most popular/effetive way to remove a cork.
