Now for Dessert Strawberry Pina Colada Pie

from Jello and easy :o)

Prep. time : 20 min. ( plus refrig. time)

1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup milk

1 pkg ( 4 serving size) Jell-o vanilla instant pudding & pie filling

1 can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple in juice, (drained)

1 tub (8oz) whipped topping, thawed and divided

1 graham pie crust (6 oz.)

1/4 cup angel flake coconut, toasted

1 1/4 cups sliced strawberries

Directions:

Beat cream cheese and milk in large bowl with electric mixer until well blended. Add dry pudding mix and pineapple; mix well. Gently stir in 2 cups of the whipped topping; spoon into crust.

Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm

Top with coconut, strawberries and remaining whipped topping just before serving. Store leftovers in refrig. Makes. 10 servings

Oh you are more then welcome sweetie...It is easy and really good, not the healthiest I guess, but either are the homemade cinnamon rolls I am making today for my Son-in-law.  Even tho I do use all organic ingredients,even the sugar is.  However the dang calories are still present aren't they?God Bless G-Ma :o) hugs (p.s adding the strawberries on top it looks better. couldn't find a pic like that tho)

Heck, G-Ma if we give up everything that they now claim is not good for us we would all starve to death LOL. Those cinnamon rolls sound tasty too! Is that what I have been smelling in HP today?

You are so funny my dear..maybe you have....I don't eat more then the first one after I bake them tho... have to make sure they are good you know....but the grand- children and my son-in-law love them sooo as a grandma, of course I still make them. Going to Seattle for the week-end to be with them and celebrate his 40th BD..oh to be forty again and know what I know now!!! Right? G-Ma :o) hugs

This sounds like a perfect recipe to teach a kid that is learning to cook. It's super easy and sounds delicious, too.

I should have thought of that...great idea and yes it is good and you can always use real whipped cream and make your own crust..but why? they make them so good these days...and who isn't busy?
