Nutritious Facts for Healthy Diet. Interesting Information about what You Eat

Introduction:

 

With the increase of unhealthy food, we keep stuffing our systems with all kinds of harmful and processed food, forgetting that nature is still providing healthy choices. Here are some tips and facts for a healthy life:

 

Green Tea

 

Green tea alone is not effective for obesity; however, the only way to lose weight is thru exercises with attention to the quality and quantity of food.

 

Strawberry

- Strawberry: very useful for the heart because it is the best anti-oxidant. Also, it’s rich with insoluble fibers, which reduce blood cholesterol as well as improve the efficiency of blood circulation.

Almond

- Almond: did you know that only 25 grams of almond provides 12% of protein needed for the human body on daily basis? Besides, it contains 35% of vitamin E.

Fresh Mint

 Fresh Mint: mint oil helps stabilize bowels disturbances. It relaxes the stomach as well as the digestion system.

Salt

 - Salt: too much salt in your food will lead to osteoporosis (fragility of bones), because when our bodies dispose the extra salt, calcium escapes with it, thus leaving the bone fragile and breakable.

Onion & Garlic

 Onion & Garlic: they are considered as effective cure for many illnesses for having sulfuric composites. These composites reduce the possibility of a stroke, reduce cholesterol rate in the blood, and minimize the chance of having cancer.

Banana

Banana: Eating 2 to 5 bananas a day prevents hypertension with no need for drugs because banana contains high proportions of potassium and some sodium.

Carrots

Carrots: one carrot contains quadruple of a recommended daily quantity of Vitamin A which plays an important role in vision, bone growth, and reproduction. Add to that, melon, spinach and potato.

Cocktail!!!

 Finally, a cocktail of garlic, lemon, ginger and one spoonful of olive oil is an excellent combination for cleaning the liver if taken in the morning before breakfast. It’s highly recommended to have this cocktail once every six months.

Nice job with the ones you selected. Now on to blueberries, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, apples, celery, walnuts, etc. You could do a series of hubs relating all the health benefits of different foods.

Gorgeous photos...mmm..I'm now hungry. I wonder what type of ripple-effect of change we'd see if everyone actually started eating such foods, which are kinder to our bodies and to our planet.

I find that once you get on a healthy-eating kick, processed junk becomes less and less appealing. Great hub, excited to check out more from you..
