Dining at Ocean Pizza in New London, Connecticut, is a new favorite tradition for my family. However, my mother took me for pizza there when I was a child. I also used to go for gyros, soup, and delicious menu choices during my lunch break at work.
Ocean Pizza has been owned by the same family since it opened in 1962.
In an article written by the New York Times in 2002, Ocean Pizza was recommended as the place to go for pizza in New London, Connecticut.

After serving up specialty dishes and favorites to locals for over 50 years, how could Ocean Pizza not be on the top of my radar when it comes time for lunch!
My family enjoys the Chicken Caesar Salad every few weeks as we dine in or take it to go.
The food is priced to enjoy. The other day I went to a local pizza restaurant while I was in town running errands. For my daughter and I to enjoy one small plain cheese pizza and two soft drinks, it cost us $15.
For that price, we could have had a pizza and a Chicken Caesar Salad at Ocean Pizza.
For less than $20, my husband and I order the salad with fresh bread, a pizza, and two canned drinks to go! It's date night on a budget at our house!
I can't speakly highly enough of Ocean Pizza.
