Potato Soup Delight

A Soup for Cold Days

5-6 Medium sized potatoes peeled and diced

1 cup diced ham

1 cup chopped onion

Cook with enough water to cover until potatoes are tender.

Then add:

1 can cream of celery soup

1 can peas (If using frozen peas add with first 3 ingredients)

1 cup milk

Salt and pepper as desired

Simmer 10-15 minutes and serve hot.

Variations to This Recipe

Cream of celery soup can be replaced with cream of chicken, cream of mushroom or other cream style favorites.

I have made this soup with canned potatoes before which tasted just as good.

The frozen pea pods add another variety for a tasty combination.

I make this soup often during the cold winter months.

I shared this hub on Facebook and got a lot of comments on how much my friends there liked it. One even said they exchanged the cream of celery for cream of mushroom. Perhaps I'll try it that way sometime.

This is a potato soup version I came up with myself as the cold weather got here. I fix it often now.
