This is a wonderful recipe for a tangy paneer dish that is quite simple and easy to follow.

Before we make our Paneer Tikka Masala, we need to have the following stuff ready:

5 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. grated ginger
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 green chilies, ground
3 tbsp. chopped coriander
1 tsp. chili powder
salt to taste
250g paneer (cottage cheese)cut into cubes
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 onions, chopped into 1-inch long but thin slices
¼ tsp. turmeric powder
3-4 tbsp. thick yogurt
½ cup milk.

Now that we have all those things ready, we can do some serious cooking:

Mix together the lemon juice, ginger, garlic, green chili, chili powder, salt, and paneer (cottage cheese) in a bowl . Cover and leave to marinate for about an hour or so.

2. Heat oil in a pan and cook onions for 3-4 minutes on low flame till transparent. Add turmeric powder, yogurt, and the milk. Stir for a few minutes till the sauce thickens.

3. Add the paneer mixture in the sauce and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame. You can season it as per your liking

4. Serve hot garnished with fresh coriander with your choice of Indian bread or basmati rice.
