Yummmy

Oh dear I found a really simple recipe and a good one too...well as long as you like Peanutbutter .

2 cups sugar ( I use organic)

dash of salt

2/3 cup evaporated milk (low fat works)

3 tbls.peanut butter (heaping)

1 teas. butter (margarine)

Directions are as follows:

Combine sugar, salt and evaporated milk. Boil for 3 minutes. Stirring constantly. Take off the stove and add peanut butter, butter (marg.) and vanilla. Stir. Pour into buttered 8x8 pan or on to a buttered palte. Cool and enjoy.

P.S. could use chunky style or even add your own choice of nuts.

1 teas. vanilla

Oh dear I love p-nut butter too and I use organic freshly made and it is just to die for.  There is this farmers store that carries almonds and peanuts in a machine that grinds  them right in  front of you and you do it yourself.  OMG it is so fresh and so good and nothing added...So I do hope you enjoy yours...thanks for your comment hun...G-Ma :o) Hugs

Right, just made my first batch, and it is nice and thick, looks yummy too. Now have to wait for it to cool down. Oops a lie, have to wait for the wife to be here to try out with me.

The taste is great, I madeit with chunky and yummy, maybe make a batch snooth peanut butter and mix in some chopped pecan nuts for the crunch.

The missus enjoyed it too even though she is not a peanut butter fan, except on bread.

Thanks G-Ma {;-{(0)}
