Pineapple Chicken Teriyaki

  One of my favorite dinners that I love to cook is Pineapple Chicken Teriyaki. I find it simple and found to cook as well as eat. what you need for this is :

1 can sliced pineapples

3/4 cup soy sauce

2tsp maple syrup

3 tsp dark brown sugar

3/8 cup oil

3 tsp red wine vinegar

1/2tsp minced garlic

3/8tsp thyme

5 leg quarters

you want to drain the pineapple and save 1/4 cup of the syrup.

mix syrup,soy sauce,brown sugar,vinegar,oil,garlic,and thyme.

bone and skin chicken, place in 9x13 pan

pour mixture over and cover.

marinate in fridge for several hours.

cook at 350 degrees 1hour 45 minutes

uncover and put pineapple rings on the chicken the last 15-20 mins.

while that is cooking prepare rice 2cups rice to 4cups water cook to a boil cover then simmer til water is evaporated.

serve chicken on top of the rice.
