Pumpkin Bread Ingredients


  • 500 grams sugar
  • 250 milliliters vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 milliliters water
  • 500 grams pumpkin puree
  • 2 tea spoons ground ginger
  • 1 tea spoon ground allspice
  • 1 tea spoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tea spoon ground cloves
  • 900 grams all - purpose flour
  • 2 tea spoons baking soda
  • 1/4 tea spoons salt
  • 1 tea spoon baking powder

Pumpkin Bread Recipe


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (or 175 degrees C). Lightly grease two loaf pans.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, the oil and the four eggs. Beat until smooth. Add water and beat until well blended. Stir in the pumpkin, the ginger, all spice cinnamon, and the clove.
  3. In medium bowl, combine the flour, the soda, the salt, and the baking powder. Add dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture and blend just until all of the ingredients are mixed. Divide batter between the prepared pans.
  4. Bake in preheated oven until tooth - pick comes out clean, which is about 1 hour.

Extra Tips

You can double the spices and you may add 1 tea spoon cloves. Even if you have people that normally do not like pumpkin - they might ask you when will you make this pumpkin bread again.

I like the pumpkin bread and I make and eat it about once a month. It is delicious but I can eat it everyday...

I don't really like the punmpkin breat, or any other vegetable or fruit bread. But people seem to like it.
