Rattlesnake BBQ Sauce
This is one of my favorite BBQ sauces that I have made over the years. It's easy and tasty and will add some serious flavor to your ribs. Around 10 years ago, I started making this sauce for meat we were smoking in an old fashioned smoker from Texas. I'm still not certain how or why we had access to this incredible smoker for the summer, but we did make some serious ribs, chicken, and tri-tip.
This recipe has some heat to it, so if you are not one for liking too much spicy heat to your meal, this is not the one for you. But if you do enjoy BBQ and you do enjoy a great sauce to go on your ribs or chicken, this is a fantastic, easy to make recipe. I usually recommend making this in a Cuisinart if you have one. If not, a blender will do just fine.
1 1/2 C Catsup
1/2 C Chili Sauce
1/4 C A-1 Steak Sauce
3 T Dry Mustard
2 T Horseradish (I use the extra spicy kind)
1 T Molasses
1 T Red Wine Vinegar
1 T Garlic Juice
1 T Tabasco sauce
Add all ingredients into Cuisinart and blend thoroughly until mixture is smooth. Taste for additional heat (Tabasco) if necessary.
Use as sauce for ribs or chicken or pork steaks.
