Raw Food Diet: What I ate Today

Today is day three of my raw food diet and I am so into it I have decided to let you know exactly what I am eating at the moment. Well for breakfast, I had some fruit, a banana and some raisins and a large glass of water. For a snack I had some raw peanuts and some almonds. For lunch I had a green salad with lettuce, cucumber, green olives and some kale and spinach. I dressed it with some pecans and orange juice blended up in a blender. For a snack I had a couple of apple slices and some more water. To be honest I am not even hungry, even though I am being told to eat as much as I can eat in terms of raw fruits and vegetables. I am finding that I have totally lost my appetite, I do have a lot more energy though and I am not feeling so tired and angry all the time. I know that the health benefits are going to be immense because I am feeling them already and I am only on my third day of the raw foods diet. By the way I am going raw vegan, so I am not eating any animal products at all. I am not eating any meat, any dairy, any eggs or anything like that. Although I love all these things, these are things that are actually making me fat so I need to take responsibility and just elimintate them from my diet totally.

I have not really had any cravings yet, the only cravings I have had have been for potato chips because I love them. I have craved them but I have managed to forget the craving and think about th e end result. I have this belief that it is very important to keep your eyes on the prize, so that is what I am doing and I am not letting anything distract me from reaching my goal. I have like 56 lbs to lose and to be honest I am not worried about it because I know that I can do it. I can achieve it, no matter what.

Thank you for reading, I am very tempted to start a blog about my whole experience but I am just so not sure right now. I might just take the plunge and do it to be honest with you but right about now I am not sure. Check back for updates, I have not had my dinner yet, so I will update on that tomorrow. Right now I am at my parents house and there is no scale here so I have not been able to weigh myself and see if I have lost any weight yet. When I go back to my apartment I will weigh myself and see how far I have come from my original weight. I was 177 lb when I started and I wonder how much I am now.

It's great to see individuals start to eat healthy. I am very curious to see what the outcome is, if you loose weight, if you experience any detox reactions, and if you feel good enough to function daily as you normally do. Don't get me wrong, I think if you have had this diet for a long time, I think you would feel great, but I'm curios to know if you normally have a different diet and you switch cold turkey, how you feel. Keep me updated, I'm following. Thank you.

I am still doing raw food but I do eat some cooked foods. I eat a lot of fruits and veg generally. I have lost weight and I my skin is clearer and I feel much happier. So, yes I have seen a difference.
