Recipe (8): Summer Squash in Savory Creamy Mixture
- summer squash
- dried mushroom black, soaked and diced
- pepper green hot, diced
- pepper red hot, diced
- white sugar
- soy sauce
- chicken powder or aginomoto
- tomato ketchup
- garlic, grounded
- ginger, chopped
- onion green, chopped
- prepare summer squash: cut it through in half; cut through the halves in another halves; get rid of inside part; slice into pieces
- add a little salt in prepared squash for a while (if for a long time, the water would be removed too much, which makes taste less crisp and removes nutrients)
- mix ketchup, sugar, salt, aginomoto, soy sauce (a little), and ground garlic together in a bowl, and add in water and a little starch, stir evenly
- put oil in a heated pan, add in mushrooms, and stir fry to fragrance
- add in ginger, onion green, squash and peppers, and stir fry a little
- add in the mixture, and stir fry with high heat until the sauce condenses
