- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup walnut chopped
Recipe for simple walnut Christmas cake:
Beat butter and sugar until creamy and fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla, salt, baking powder and milk. Mix well. Now add flour and beat until well mixed. Stir in 1 cup of chopped walnuts.
