Soy Sauce Marinade Recipe

This marinade is a great way to tenderize meat and add a lot of flavor! I've used this marinade on chicken, london broil, and spare ribs... and it is very tasty! This is a great alternative to using barbecue sauce (don't get me wrong, I love a good barbecue sauce) especially when you're looking for a whole different flavor. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll love it!

SOY SAUCE MARINADE

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/2 cup water

2 tbsp. lemon juice

1 tbsp. brown sugar

2 tbsp. oil (canola, vegetable, or olive)

1/2 tsp. black pepper

1 clove garlic, crushed

DIRECTIONS:

Combine all ingredients and whisk until blended. Pour mixture over beef, pork, or chicken and marinate no longer than 2 hours. If possible, use a large, sealable, plastic bag so that it can be turned over for even distribution of marinade. After marinating meat, discard mixture. Grill or broil meat and enjoy!
