Spaghetti aglio e olio

This is an easy fast and great spaghetti recipe.

There we go: prepare the spaghetti in a hot pan filled with hot water and MAKE SURE YOU GET THEM OUT ALDENTE! OK! In another pan prepare a bit of olive oil,salt,sliced garlic and red pepper. Let all this cook for about 2 minutes, when the garlic becomes blond stop the flame unless it is going to burn! OK?Now get the spaghetti ALDENTE and mix them in the pan with the olive oil souce, you have to steer them with a very low flame to make sure that the spaghetti get full of the oil sauce.Now turn off the flame and put the spaghetti mixed with the olive oil and garlic sauce in a dish.

Spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino (as we say in Italian language) is one of the most famous dish of spaghetti prepared and cooked at home in Italy specially in South Italy. It is a typical recipe of the Mediterranean diet culture, very balanced and excellent to feel full with a tasty quick dish.

It is not a fat dish (of course do not exaggerate with the olive oil...), the red hot pepper is good for your stomach and the garlic for your blood pressure. You could eat also some fresh small mozzarella cheese with some fresh salad and a toasted slice of bread, add a nice glass of red wine (example a bottle of red Aglianico wine from Campania region) and enjoy it!
