Ice Cube Tray to Keep You Healthy

You've heard of the 8x8 rule or drink 8-oz cups 8 times daily, and you know that you should eat fiber every day (25-30 g/day), but you either don't know how to do that or you hate to do that, it's a boring process!

The good news is that you will do both delightedly from now on, just by using your ice cube tray.

Uses of Ice Tray

Some people leave their ice trays sitting unused and collecting dust in a cabinet or drawer, others use them for one or more of the following uses:

- Store Baby Food : Fill each compartment to the top with your pureed blends (homemade baby food), and freeze. Then, take out the desired number of cubes at mealtime.

- Freeze Spices : Freeze some self grown spices for use during winter months, and use a cube any time you need to.

- Freeze Leftover Eggs :
If you take the egg yolk for a recipe, you can freeze the whites (or the opposite).

- Popsicles : Fill the ice cube tray with juice, pudding or mashed fruit. Then, cover with foil, and poke a popsicle stick through the foil and into each compartment.

- Freeze Leftover Stock or Sauces
Just fill a tray with your leftovers (soup stock, sauce,juice ...), and freeze. Then, transfer the cubes to a freezer bag once they're completely frozen. (8 cubes =1 cup)

- Use as a Candy Mold
All of your confections will be uniform in size.


- Use as a Soap Mold
Create melt-and-pour soaps that are the perfect size for a guest bathroom or gift giving.

Use Ice Tray To Take Both Water and Fiber

Having nearly 1800 ml of water and about 25 g fiber every day, opens the choices to involve all water containing fluids and all fiber containing foods, and this makes you not seriously restricted by the rules.

Combining pure water and fruits creates a shaped path that can be easily followed. You now already mix ice cubes with water or any other drink, and if ice cubes are delicious and supplementary you would never forget to drink water, rather you will be pleased every time you like to drink. Your water will be flavored the exact way you want it.

Today we suggest that you make your favorite fruits into iced cubes using ice cube trays. You simply blend the fruits in a blender, and fill the ice trays and let them to freeze. Every time you drink water you will mix a cube or more into your glass.

You would get a bonus by adding soft fiber to your drink, it is cleansing your colon. This is an excellent addition to a healing and cleansing program.

Ice Cubes of Apricot and Pineapple

Ingredients:
1/2 cup crushed pineapple
2 fresh apricot, diced
10 strawberries
1 banana
1/2 cup water

In a blender, process fruit with the rest of the ingredients. Blend until thoroughly mixed and fill the compartments of the ice tray to the top and freeze.

* You may add your favorite flavor. Elaborate!

Ice Cubes of Banana and Strawberry

Ingredients:
1 banana
6 strawberries
1/4 cup water

Blend the ingredients to mix thoroughly, and fill the compartments of the ice tray and freeze.

* Elaborate your way of ingredients

Ice Cubes of Tropical Fruits

Ingredients:
1 mango
4 tbsp. frozen pina coloda mix (or 1/4 tsp. natural coconut extract)
1 banana
8 strawberries
1  cup water

Blend the usual way and fill the ice cube tray to top and freeze.

Ice Cubes of Banana and Berry

Ingredients:
1 pear, cored
1/2 cup blueberries or mixed berries
1 banana
1/2 cup water
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Process the usual way and pour into the ice cube tray and freeze.

Ice Cubes of Banana, Orange, and Strawberry

Ingredients:
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 banana
6 strawberries
1/4 cup water

Process as usual in the blender, fill the ice cube tray and freeze.
