Swiss Chocolate Cake


This is an easy cake to make that is simple and decorative for any occasion.

Ingredients

Cake:

  • 1 box of swiss chocolate cake mix
  • 1 (3.4 oz.) Vanilla instant pudding
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 c. buttermilk

Icing:

  • 1 98oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1c. powdered sugar
  • 4 Hershey bars
  • 8 oz. cool whip

Directions


Cake:

  1. Combine ingredients in order in a mixing bowl.
  2. Place in 3(8 or 9-inch) round pans
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees

Icing

  1. Combine cream cheese, granulated sugar and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl
  2. Add granted Hershey bars (save 1/4 cup for decoration on top if desired)

Putting it all together

  1. After cake is cooled put icing on top of each layer and then stack
  2. Fold the cake with cool whip
  3. Srpinkle remaining Hershey pieces on top of cake(optional)
