Jack Daniels Chcken Alfredo: need jack daniels sauce (http://www.bigoven.com/28760-Tgi-Fridays-Jack-Dani... add apprx. 1 tbsp. chipotle tabasco sauce per cup of JD sauce to make spicy JD sauce. Start with a grilled chicken breast (6 oz.) basted with spicy JD sauce. While chicken is cooking, sautee 1 oz. bacon bits and 1 oz diced red onion in sautee pan until bacon starts to loosen again. add 1/2 cup chablis and reduce by half. add 4 oz of any alfredo sauce you like (the cheaper and saltier, the more like Friday's) stir in 4 cherry tomatoes, a dash cayenne pepper, apprx 1 tsp spicy jd sauce, and 8 oz fettucini (cooked aldente). add the now finished chicken and you have yourself one serving. Multiply recipe per serving.

Clone of TGI Fridays Vanilla Bean Cheesecake

Vanilla graham cracker crust, vanilla bean cheesecake, white chocolate mousse, vanilla bean whipped cream.

(try this recipe next time)

CRUST:

1 1/2 cups finely crushed graham crackers (Maybe add some flour???)

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 egg yolk, beaten

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Crush the graham crackers. Mix in the sugar. Add the egg yolk and vanilla, then stir in the melted butter. Line a springform pan with non-stick foil. Press graham crackers into the pan. Bake at 375º for 8 minutes or until edges are slightly brown. Remove and let cool.

CHEESECAKE:

16 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

2 Tablespoons corn starch

1 cup sugar

2 Tablespoons butter, softened

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

vanilla beans from one pod

Combine cream cheese, sour cream, corn starch and sugar, mix until sugar is dissolved. Add butter, vanilla and beans, blend until smooth. Don’t overmix.

Bake at 350F 30 to 35 minutes. Cool 1 hour.

WHITE CHOCOLATE MOUSSE

1 cup whipping cream

2 Tablespoons powdered sugar

4 ounces 1/3 less fat cream cheese, softened

4 ounces white chocolate baking squares, melted

In a cold mixing bowl beat cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Put this in a bowl in the fridge. Don’t wash your mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese in it, until fluffy. Add the white chocolate and beat until smooth. Fold in the whipped cream.

VANILLA BEAN WHIPPED CREAM

1 cup whipping cream

1 Tablespoon powdered sugar?

Beans from one vanilla pod

In cold mixing bowl, beat whipping cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar and then vanilla beans, beating until stiff peaks form.

After the cheesecake has cooled spread the mousse evenly on top. Refrigerate for about an hour then spread the whipped cream on top. Refrigerate several hours before serving.

Does anyone have the marinade recipe for Steak on a stick?

jessie 6 years ago

I am in oklahoma and the TGIF here doesn't use the wild mushroom sauce anymore. It is the best topping for steak or mashed potatoes ever and I would appreciate it if I could get the recipie to make my own. Thanks!

jess 6 years ago

I've been looking for the recipe for the cedar seared salmon pasta forever. Does anybody know how to make it? Or at least a close match? Thanks

wing 6 years ago

For the parmesan crusted chicken to taste like TGI Fridays, you have to marinate the chicken in cesar dressing for a few hours first (completely changes the flavor) then coat it with a bread crumb/parmesan mix (I use italian breadcrumbs for even more flavor). For the spinach alfredo sauce I used a good regular alfredo sauce and mixed it with chopped fresh baby spinach leaves. I would still like to find the same tortellini, but have to substitute, and the tomato salad is the same as posted above (grape or cherry tomatoes, cheese, onions, basil, except I'm pretty sure they used a basalmic vinegrette dressing, not italian. My local TGIFs no longer serves it, so I only go there for mixed drinks and potato skins :(

Sigmund 6 years ago

I, too, miss the burgundy mushroom sauce! In the 1980s they had the burgers named after week days. The Tuesday burger had the burgundy wine sauce and it was and is the best burgundy wine sauce I have come across. Even after eating at fine French restaurants, I still miss TGI Friday's recipe! If someone used to work there and remembers the recipe, you would be able to make life-long friends! Thanks

Lynn 5 years ago

TGIF use to serve in the 1980's a blacken cajan chicken dish over a spicy rice (a little hot)

with a lite cheesy creamy it was sooo good does anyone know the recipe. I wish they would bring that back along with the daily burgers. Thanks

Tina 5 years ago

I have been searching for the TGI FRIDAYS alfredo,it used to be on the jack daniels menu (Jack daniels chicken alfredo)there but they took it off in 2007.All I know is it had bacon, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms and had some sort of white wine sauce with cheeses in it.They never intend to bring it back either :o(

MaryP 5 years ago

I agree on the burgundy mushroom sauce recipe. The Tuesday Burger was my favorite and I always asked for extra sauce. I have been trying for years to find something similar. If anyone has the recipe, I too would be greatly appreciative.
