Taco Dip

Are you looking for a tasty appetizer you can whip up in a minute's notice and please a crowd? Well I think I have the answer for you. Taco Dip is a delicious and easy recipe that makes a large batch of snacks.

Here's what you will need:

16 ounces cream cheese,

16 ounces sour cream

1 packet of taco seasoning

Large package of grated cheese, (colby jack used for this demo)

1 can of black olives

1 ripe tomato

1 bundle of green onions (approximately 8 onions)

iceburg or romaine lettuce, shredded into bite-sized pieces

Large bag of tortilla chips

________________________________________________________

STEP ONE:

Combine: Cream cheese, sour cream and taco packet together. If you enjoy a spicy touch, add a drop or two of hot sauce.

STEP TWO:

Once you have the mixture together, spread into a jelly roll pan. Next, you will add the chopped onions and diced tomato to the top.

STEP THREE:

Now that you have the tomato and onions on top, add the shredded up lettuce. Once you have that, cover the whole thing with grated cheese.

Top with black olives.

Waa LAA!!

STEP FIVE:

EAT AND ENJOY!!

That looks great, and healthy too. I think it would be great with cilantro too.

Delicious hub! I like adding minced fresh jalepenos (so much better than pickeled).

Thanks Sally- I don't like things too spicy but I think it would be a great addition! (my son and husband would probably like it if I added that too!)
