I sometimes wake up at 4 A.M. and make brownies. To me brownies are one of the things I dream about. And all my life I have been looking for the worlds best brownies recipe and I think I have now found the recipe for the best brownies you will ever eat. And if you make this recipe for the best brownies you will ever eat you just may be up at 4 A.M. making brownies. There is nothing like these brownies with a cold glass of milk. Try them and I think you will agree they are the best brownies you have ever had.
Let me talk here just a bit about the pan you cook these brownies in. Your going to want a 9 inch square pan to cook these brownies in. Your pan should be 9 inches on each side. This is very important as this recipe was developed to be cooked in a 9 inch square pan. I think my pan is 2 1/2 inches deep but the depth of the pan really doesn't matter. Just that it be 9 inches square.
My other thing is to always use name brand ingredients when you are making brownies. You may save money with the store brand or no name brand product but you will also be hurting the taste of your brownies. So if you want the best taste go with the name brand products especially when you are making brownies or baked items. When I use vegetable cooking spray with baked items I always use Pam Cooking Spray. Believe it or not but there is a huge difference.
Here you are making brownies from scratch as it is called and you will find that baked goods taste best when made from scratch. When you bake these brownies they will raise quite a bit as you are baking them but they will sink down as they are cooling. This is what I think makes these brownies so gooey and tasty. I'm sure its at least part of the reason for how good these brownies are.
If your going to make brownies and other baked goods on a regular basis you really should purchase a good heavy duty thermometer to hang in your oven. Some home ovens are really off bad. You may set your ovens dial for 350 degrees but the oven is closer to 390 degrees. So yes if your going to bake a lot you need a heavy duty oven thermometer.
Keep in mind that these brownies do need to be baked at 325 degrees and yes that is the right temperature. You will want to preheat your oven to 325 degrees and you need to check your ovens temperature with your oven thermometer and make sure its 325 degrees. If its to hot or to cold adjust the dial until you get it at 325 degrees.

1. 3/4 Cup Of All Purpose Plain Flour.
2. 1/4 Teaspoon Fresh Baking Soda.
3. 1/4 Teaspoon Salt.
4. 3/4 Cup White Granulated Sugar.
5. 1/3 Cup Real Butter ( Not Margarine )
6. 2 Tablespoons Of Water.
7. 12 Oz. Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips , Divided In Half.
8. 1 Teaspoon Vanilla.
9. 2 Large Eggs.
10. 1/2 Cup Crushed Pecans., You Can Add Or Not Add Pecans.
If your going to be baking on a regular basis you need a good set of measuring spoons and measuring cups. These will make your baking oh so much easier.
Okay here is this brownie recipe laid out in really easy to follow steps. Just follow along and before you know it you'll be eating the best brownies you will ever eat.
Step 1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. And spray your 9 inch by 9 inch pan with a good vegetable cooking spray.
Step 2. In a bowl combine your flour, baking soda, and salt and set aside.
Step 3. In a saucepan you will want to combine your sugar, butter, and water and bring it to a boil. As soon as it reaches a boil remove it from the heat.
Step 4. To the saucepan you just removed from the heat add one cup of chocolate chips and the vanilla. Stir until the chocolate chips are melted and everything is very smooth.
Step 5. Add your eggs to the chocolate mixture one at a time and stir well to make sure they get well mixed in until the mixture is very smooth.
Step 6. Gradually stir the flour mixture into the chocolate mixture until all is mixed together very well.
Step. 7. Now you will want to stir in the other chocolate chips and the pecans if you are using pecans. To keep your pecans up in the batter place them in a plastic bag with a tablespoon of plain flour and shake well. Now add the pecans to the mixture and they will be all throughout your brownies and not just on the bottom of the pan.
Now use a rubber spatula and rake all your batter out into your prepared baking pan. You now want to place your pan of brownies into the oven in the center of the oven and bake for 30 - 35 minutes before you test your brownies by inserting a toothpick into the center of the pan. The toothpick should come out clean. If the toothpick is clean the brownies are done so remove them from the oven and allow them to cool to room temperature before you cut them out in squares.
I sometimes like to spread the top of my brownies with fudge frosting and fine crumbled pecans once they have cooled to room temperature. Either way I guarantee you that your going to have the best brownies you will ever eat.
