The Worlds Best Fried Chicken Recipe.
Yes all my life I have had a love affair with fried chicken and I really think I may have created the worlds best recipe for fried chicken. I've searched everywhere and I have never found a better recipe than this for fried chicken.
Its crisp and crunchy on the outside and moist and delicious on the inside. I mean just look at the photo above and drool or better still go down to your local supermarket and buy the ingredients you need for this wonderfully delicious fried chicken. This recipe is a little harder to do than the average recipe but the reward is just simply marvelous.
For your fried chicken recipe you will need.
1. 4 cups Self Rising Flour.
2. 4 cups fine Crushed Cornflakes.
3. 1 package Italian Salad Dressing Mix , (Dry)
4. 1 Teaspoon Ground Sea Salt.
5. 1 Teaspoon Ground Cayenne Pepper.
6. 1 Teaspoon Paprika.
7. 1 Teaspoon Powdered Sage.
Mix all of the above ingredients together and place in a large bowl being sure that all your ingredients are very well mixed together.
Now you want to place 4 large eggs in a large bowl and beat them very well. Now add a quart of buttermilk and mix together very well.
Now take your chicken pieces and dip each piece into the milk/egg mixture and then roll each piece of chicken into the dry ingredients mixture. Now place each piece back into the milk/egg mixture and then back into the dry ingredients mixture. Now fry for 12 to 15 minutes in a 350 degree home deep fryer. You want your thick pieces of chicken to have an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Once you fry your chicken you want to drain it well on paper towels before serving.
