What I Did Today - I Made Some Brilliant Winter Soup (and visited a "Pet Shop")
The "Pet Shop" and The Winter Soup..
I had a plan for today. I thought it would be pretty amazing to go to a pet shop. Cute animals are always fun, right?
Well, something happened that made that impossible so instead I made some nice warm winter soup
The Warming Winter Soup..
I took a little walk in a forest that is by a river, that was on the way to the.. pet shop. I spotted a few odd things on my way and made my usual obscure commentary.
I was in a little bit of a rush when I made the video so some of the ingredients that are seen at the end are not mentioned at the start of the video.. But basically you can add pretty much anything you like to the soup. As long as it is natural :)
If you want to cook the soup you see in the video you will need:
- Beef (the goulash sort) make sure it is good quality otherwise it will taste dry.
- A stock cube.
- Apple vinegar.
The soup needs to be cooked/simmered for at least an hour. Bring the soup to an initial boil and then turn the soup down as low as you can.
Have A Look At What I Did Today...
What I Did On Other Days..
All in all...
This soup is really great, healthy, easy to make and cheap. It takes a little while to cook but it is worth it and if you wanted to you could store it and have it another day.
(- None of the meat came from the "pet shop" ! I guess I need to improve my German, though! -)
