Fully Loaded Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs Recipe, These Are Really Delicious Hot Dogs.

I suggest using all beef hot dog wieners and wrap them tightly with lean bacon. Secure the bacon around the hot dog securely so it will stay in place while cooking. I often use my George Foreman Grill to cook these on. They turn out perfect that way. Grill them on one side until the bacon becomes crisp and then flip them over and cook them on the other side. I'll often wrap my all beef wieners with the bacon and soak them in a plastic pan in Italian Dressing for four hours before I cook them. Shake the plastic pan about every hour to be sure the marinade coats the hot dogs and bacon well.

Marinade Your Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs In The Refrigerator In Italian Dressing

While the hot dogs wrapped in bacon are in the marinade in the refrigerator I slice fresh jalapenos, onions, and red bell peppers in thin strips. Use care with the jalapeno not to touch your face or eyes while your working with the peppers. You want the jalapenos, red peppers, and onions in thin long strips. Put the veggies in a skillet with margarine or butter and cook them over low heat until done but not over cooked. Set off the heat until your ready to add them to the top of your bacon wrapped hot dogs. While your veggies are cooking sprinkle them with ground sea salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste.

At the local supermarket here I found a wonderful hot dog bun that is made out of potato flour. It has a really wonderful flavor especially when buttered and grilled. You want to grill your hot dog bun to a golden brown and then set them aside. You do of course want to spread them out gently while grilling them after you have spread butter or garlic butter over them. Cook them to a golden brown color but don't overcook them.

When your ready take the bacon wrapped hot dogs out of the marinade and shake them off. Grill them on the George Foreman Grill until they are done. Now your ready to put your fully loaded bacon wrapped hot dogs together. I always offer mayonnaise and mustard on the side. Once you put one of these together and taste it I think you'll understand why it is so delicious. These are truly some of the best if not the best hot dogs I've ever tasted in my life. If you make this recipe please post a comment about how they turn out below. Thanks for reading.

What Is Your Favorite Hot Dog

The hot dog also known as the frankfurter , wiener , or sausage has been around for quite a few years now. In the United States the modern hot dog can be traced back as far as the 1880's when the hot dog bun was invented in St Louis Missouri. And from there hot dogs became one of the favorite American foods.

Hot Dogs At Major League Ball Parks

If you've never been to a Major League Ball Park on a warm spring afternoon and ate a couple of hot dogs up in the stands then you need to real soon. Take your kids or grand-kids alone and make a wonderful afternoon out of it. I promise you the kids will remember it for a lifetime. There's nothing like hot dogs and baseball. Once you ever do it I promise you that you'll be hooked for a life time.

And while you will find hot dogs served many ways around the United States with different regions having their own favorite hot dog people are still coming up with new ways to serve the hot dog. Some people will eat almost any type of wiener some people won't touch anything but pure beef wieners and you won't find a better wiener than a Hebrew National All Beef Hot Dog.

Wrap Your Hot Dogs With Bacon Before You Cook Them

One of my favorite ways to prepare a all beef hot dog is to wrap each hot dog wiener with lean bacon and grill my hot dogs. I then serve the bacon wrapped hot dogs in the regular way with homemade chili , slaw , ketchup , and mustard. In fact a bacon wrapped grilled hot dog is one of the best tasting things you will ever taste. Once you have your hot dogs wrapped with bacon secure it with a toothpick and soak the prepared hot dogs in Italian dressing for about two hours before you grill them. I promise you that you'll end up with some of the most delicious hot dogs you'll ever eat in your life.

And now hot dogs are served in more places than any other food. In fact hot dogs are now as popular as baseball where millions of hot dogs are sold every year at ball parks all over the United States. Hot Dogs around the United States are served with sauerkraut , pickle relish , pickles , mustard , ketchup , and mayonnaise. And if you want one of the best hot dogs in the world purchase all beef wieners and grill them wrapped in bacon until the bacon is crisp.

And most people agree that for your hot dogs to be the most delicious you need a great homemade chili and you can check out my world famous no beans hot dog chili by CLICKING HERE.

Its really a personal preference but your hot dogs do need a really good homemade chili. Be sure to check out the link above for a really great no beans chili. And once again I have to say that if you've never had a Hebrews National All Beef Hot Dog Wiener you really need to go buy a pack. I strongly suggest buying a pack of lean bacon to wrap your Hebrew National Hot Dogs in. And then you want to grill them until the bacon is done. And you'll have some of the most delicious hot dogs you will ever taste or enjoy. I like homemade slaw and homemade chili on my bacon wrapped hot dogs along with ketchup and mustard.

All Beef Hot Dogs Make The Best Hot Dogs

I prefer all beef hot dogs but some people like other kinds of hot dogs. I even like my hot dogs split down the middle and fried in a skillet along with sweet onions cut into strips until they are done. You want your hot dogs to get browned and your onions to get cooked all the way through. You can put some of these fried hot dogs and the grilled onions on a grilled hot dog bun and you'll have a wonderful meal you won't soon forget.

Oh man this hub cuts me to the quick, I love hotdogs, plain, or a little mustard or all decked out. You can't beat a good hotdog! Ever notice all the cool stuff you put on a grill and they all smell so good? Nothing beats the smell of a great hotdog!

I don't know anything about recipes, crazyhorsesghost, but I've never had a better hog dog than a Sabrett from one of the New York pushcarts. In case your not familiar with them, here's their site: http://www.sabrett.com/

Boiled hot dogs are the best, in my opinion, with mustard and sauerkraut. I got a little culture shock when I landed in Germany in 1955 and bought a hotdog at a stand -- they gave me the dog in one hand and the bun in the other.

Well, ya'll know in Texas it's got to be chili dogs. Add some fresh chopped onions, a bit of mustard and maybe some sweet relish (just a touch). Then serve with Fritos! Homemade Texas chili is the national dish of Texas, so there's no contest. And putting slaw on a chili dog is just so very wrong. None of that sauerkraut either thank you very much. And serve the chili dog with a real honest Coca-Cola straight from the ice bucket. Now that's some good eating!
