Worlds Best Lasagna Recipe

Over the last 30 years that I have been a Chef I developed what I consider to be the Worlds Best Lasagna. And this recipe is it. And I am going to reveal some lasagna tips and tricks to you that most people do not know.

Lasagna is one of my favorite foods on earth and I truly know and believe that I make the best lasagna in the world. My lasagna contains Ground Beef , Ground Pork , and Italian Sausage plus many other great delicious ingredients. As you can see in the photo I add a bit of fresh spinach to my lasagna for extra flavor.

Over the years I have discovered that if I use a cheesy bechamel sauce in my lasagna it gives the lasagna a flavor that you won't be able to recreate any other way.

A Few Words About Lasagna Noodles.

There is absolutely no reason to pre-cook lasagna noodles and in fact your lasagna will be much better if you do not pre-cook your lasagna noodles. You just have to be sure that once you have your lasagna put together that you seal the pan your cooking it in completely with tin foil so that the steam produced while your lasagna is cooking will cook your lasagna noodles and your lasagna will turn out perfect every time.

My World Famous Lasagna does contain a lot of ingredients and takes some effort to make but it really is worth the effort as it really is the Worlds Best Lasagna.

I make my own Meat Sauce for my lasagna but Prego Meat Sauce will work perfect for your recipe and it's a short cut that will not change the final flavor and outcome of your lasagna.

For Your World's Best Lasagna You Will Need.

Cheesy Bechamel Sauce.

1. 4 Cups Bechamel Sauce.

2. 1 Cup Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese.

3. 1 Cup Ricotta Cheese.

4. 1 Cup Whole Milk.

Add the above ingredients to a sauce pot and heat to almost boiling but not quite. Remove from heat and stir very well. Set aside with a ladle as you get ready to put together your World's Best Lasagna.

You will need the below ingredients for your Worlds Best Lasagna.

1. One Pound Italian Sausage removed from casings chopped up and fried brown and drained.

2. One Pound Ground Pork fried brown and drained.

3. One Pound Ground Beef fried brown and drained.

4. One Large Jar Prego Sauce with meat and mushrooms.

5. Two Pounds Shredded Mozzarella Cheese.

6. One Large Bag Baby Spinach.

7. One Pound Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese.

You want to start out with a 13"X9" Baking Pan and you want to spray it with vegetable cooking spray.

Now in the bottom of the baking pan put a layer of meat sauce and a layer of lasagna noodles. To this layer add a few ladles of your Cheesy Bechamel Sauce , some of each meat , some shredded mozzarella cheese , some of the Prego Meat Sauce , a few baby spinach leafs , and a generous sprinkle of fresh grated Parmesan Cheese.

Repeat the layers over and over until you have the pan filled and end up with a top layer of Mozzarella Cheese and Parmesan Cheese. Cover the top tightly with tin foil being sure that you have it sealed very well to keep in the steam.

Place your pan of lasagna in a 350 degree pre-heated oven for 60 minutes and then reduce heat to 300 degrees for 45 more minute. Remove from the oven and remove the tinfoil to allow the lasagna to set. Test with a toothpick and you will have a surprise. Your uncooked lasagna noodles are now cooked perfectly and you have now produced the Worlds Best Lasagna.

I have made and served this lasagna all over the United States. I would bet you that over the years I have served millions of servings of the Worlds Best Lasagna and thousands of people over the years have told me that it truly is the Worlds Best Lasagna.

I actually made this recipe. I altered it, but the essentials are the same. I made the bachamel sauce, but used a different recipe for it that made about 4 cups of sauce which was plenty for this dish. I used the three meats and the no boil noodles. I added fresh chopped basil, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper to each of the meats while browning which enhanced the dish a lot i think. Otherwise it's just meat and cheese. I suggest using lean meats too, as lean as u can get. The sauce and cheese already make this a rich dish, u don't need heavy fatty meats on top of that.

OMG...The picture of this grand lasagna shows it all. The ingredients are absolutely incredible and I am sure the actual lasagna is incredible tasting. Thanks for sharing the lasagna information. It is off to the market I go to get some fresh ingredients!
