   Many people are unaware, but your a chef by trade.  What's your most favorite dish?

   To make or to eat??? I am actually a trained teacher's assistant and co-ordinator for people with special needs. I merely cook for a living to meet mothly/living bill payments. There are no jobs available here for me to work at my potential.  I'll answer the question as if you want to know my favorite dish to make.... Where I work, the "Poutine with the works" is quite simple  to make and tastey as hell...the key ingredient is the gravy. I hope I answered your question Zavala....

   In the image is blackened chicken with pasta, which is yummy.  But I don't know how to make it yet.  However, one of my favorite dishes is curry wurst with pomme-fritz.  Ingredients:
   
   1 PK of white casing bratwurst
   1 BG of french fries
   Ketchup
   Curry powder
   Paprika
   Olive oil
   Brotchen (or kaiser roll)
   
   Slowly grill or pan fry the brats so that it's fully cooked and the outside of the casing toasted.
   
   Time the baking of he fries to coincide with cooking of the brats so they finish around the same time.
   
   Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees.  Spread the bag of french fries on a baking sheet.  Lightly sprinkle olive oil on them, then lightly dust with paprika.  Place in the oven for aproximately 10-15 minutes.

   Or make it yourself.
   In a small sauce pan, add a cup of ketchup and 1/3 cup of water.  Add a tablespoon of curry powder.  Slowly simmer.  Add water and ketchup to adjust consistency, but you want it to be able to pour out of pan.  Add curry to your taste.
   
   Once everything is close to cooked, place brotchen (or kaiser roll) in oven for about 3 minutes.  Serve the bread with food.  Place bratwurst on plate with pomme fritz (fries).  Pour sauce over the food.  This dish is normally served with German beer, my favorite being Hefe-Weissen.  Then savor your creation with good friends and enjoy.
