Usually I do, But there have been times when I tried to mix it up a bit. For example, we had a Mexican themed thanksgiving a few years ago.

Yep-and look forward to it every year, too. Easter: Ham with sides. Thanksgiving: Turkey-Roast, NOT deep fried; and Christmas could be either the turkey or ham-spiral cut. YUM!
Now with just my husband and myself, we don't cook anything out of the ordinary. I miss having the traditional meals but it doesn't seem worth the hassle for just two.
There was only one year that I did not make a traditional Thanksgiving meal and it was because we were renovating our home and had to order in.
Only on Thanksgiving for my family. Only myself and one of my daughters will eat ham so it always seems like a waste.
Thanksgiving and Easter tend to be traditional. Lamb, Turkey, mashed potatoes. Christmas is a different story. My dad like to keep Christmas relaxed so we will make stir-fry, or homemade pizza.
