Is it better to eat healthy all the time or should we let ourselves indulge once in a while?
Indulge occasionally, but remember when you do you need to limit the indulgence.
I remember reading an interesting article on this point exactly-
It said you should let yourself go wild once a week and eat whatever you like, but just once a day. Eat sugary stuff, eat fatty stuff - I don't know, go WILD
This day will simply kill all your desire to eat all this stuff until the next time this special day comes.
Personally, I sin a lot
It's not about 'eating healthy'; it's about making better choices. That means it's okay to indulge...but only when it's an indulgence. Let a small sundae satisfy you once a week and make sure it's really, truly indulgent. Trying to use lesser ingredients to make it 'healthy' is just going to disappoint you and you'll eat more.
Have a sliver of pizza after eating some less exciting salad. A few really good french fries, but sit down at a table and savor them so you don't mindlessly munch. And if you've been overdoing the junk food, choose something healthier.
Your digestion will thank you; and your taste buds will be happy. Not to mention your arteries. :-)
Everything in moderation -- including eating healthy. When I was on a low-carb diet, I found that indulging once in awhile actually boosted my metabolism and got me over the dreaded last few pounds to meet my next goal.
what is eating healthy really. i bet $500 that your idea of eating healthy and my idea isn't that same. as for eating healthy by what is popular, ever notice how the oldest people in the world are never health nuts?seriously, i yet have to see any scientific fact that eating healthy all the time does help you live longer.
All things in moderation. A little bit of comfort food can actually be good for you. Positive feelings help bolster your immune system as much as healthy foods. There are people with great outlooks on life who eat sweets regularly who are still spry into their 70s and 80s.
Personally, up until 12 years ago, I was eating a lot of crap, but I also dealt with a lot of emotional issues such as unforgiveness and disappointment. I got cancer and almost died from it. I had to follow a strict nutrition plan to recover, but I also had to deal with forgiving those who had wronged me and other issues like that.
When I refused the bone marrow transplant and walked away from conventional medicine 11 years ago, I was in such bad shape the doctors told me my life expectancy would be months maybe weeks.
While I still eat a much healthier diet than the average person, I allow myself things like chocolates and junk food in moderation. I also watch my stress and attitudes just as carefully.
I wrote a book about my experience. Go to my profile to find out more.

Can you use coupons and still eat healthy?I don't like to buy meat, dairy, or produce that isn't organic, and I try not to eat junk food or packaged foods. Unfortunately, it seems like most coupons are for foods that I don't eat. Is it possible to save money and still eat well?

Should we eat to live or live to eat? Give reason. Some enjoy eating without any restriction on the other hand some prefer to eat according to health condition. You fall in which group and why do you do so? Do you think you are right?
