garlic is a good food for anti-body, anti cancer and low cholesterol level. Eating raw garlic is the best, you can absorb all the nutrients immediately.

I am wondering if it can be used topically like an antiseptic in addition to being eaten, and for consumption if raw is more potent and effective than when it's cooked.

Heat can destroy enzymes of garlic.
