We do about the same. If we are feeling really lazy, we will mash an avocado and mix in our favorite salsa. I have never heard of guacamole taking more than 10 minutes - simple like your post is the best!

Sound yummy and easy. I kind of like the ease of the salsa for flavor and tomatoes. Thanks and I thought the 90 minutes was kind of out there and there was a lot of ingredients.
It is. Sometimes I add the mayo, sometimes not. Can't use too much of that either, lol. Simple is best and now I really wish I had some. Sometimes a bowl of guacamole with chips is all that's needed for a meal. :)

I wouldn't bother messing up your blender to make guacamole. Avocados are so easy to mash by hand, making a mess in the blender (or food processor) just isn't worth it, IMO. Also, you lose guacamole that sticks to the sides.
Tried this recipe (no blender) with Julie's idea of the muffin and egg this morning (4am) along with my coffee and Coldstone creamer and it was fabulous. Thanks to both of you and going to try some more recipes later with chips or quesadillas.

That would be great if you don't mind I love trying different recipes and don't mind taking the extra time sometimes when I'm not really really wanting something. The sour cream and cilantro sounds great also. Thanks
1 avacado diced, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup sour cream, 2TBS copped cilantro, 1/2TBS salt, 1TBS onion power, 1 small Jalapeño pepper with seeds removed or 3TBS jalapeño juice from jarred jalapeños, 2TBS lime juice. Blend in blender until smooth liquid.

The Worcestershire sounds like it would give it a nice touch especially vegetarian which I've never used before. Hmmmm and sour cream. Jamie Oliver makes it as quesadillas which Novascotia told me about and this would be really great. Thank you

15 minutes is really quick and great for unexpected company or one of those sudden cravings. It sounds really good with some basil and oregano Hmmmmm I may have to make a little of each of these recipes and try them all. Oh the torture lol

Thanks for the tip and a very basic recipe that sounds great. Isn't it great when you get new ideas for recipes. I just love it I had the muffin egg idea this morning and the Jamie Oliver recipe/ quesidillas this afternoon and both were awesome.
It takes me three days to make sauce, lasagna, and several other recipes I just really wanted some guacamole after getting the avocados and couldn't think of how to make it. So whats the recipe? It must be really really good if it takes three days
There's little point unless you possess a guacamole fork and bowl made from pseudophoenix sargentii. Without these utensils, the avocado won't keep for long enough, I'm afraid.
weekend is being facetious with the palm tree bowl. A molcajete is a stone morter/pestle. Soft avos taste better anyway!
If you don't mind, Ptosis, my guacamole fork and bowl were made with my own fair hands during my time in Mexico. With these utensils, I produce the best guacamole imaginable.

What great ideas and information. I just love avocados especially with a little lime and spices. That is an incredible idea about growing your own garlic and I never realized how decorative it was. Thanks for all the great ideas and info!
