Although my husband loves pumpkin pie and I make it for him, I don't enjoy it. But I do love pumpkin custards. You don't need to make a pie crust. You make the custard almost like a pumpkin pie filling, except with more milk and about 8 eggs. You bake them in the oven in a water bath for about 45 minutes, or until firm. It fills the house with the amazing pumpkin pie fragrance, too!
