I also love trying new recipes - it gets me creative and in the good mood.

Yes, you are lucky. To be taken care of! I hope you manage well. I am so happy to hear that you are in a good mood (am I making an assumption?)
I'm still stuck upstairs with no sign of my lift yet, but i'm being waited on, hand and foot...
By the way, I forgot to say that I love fast food too - so long as it's good quality and well cooked.
Thanks again for your concern, Svetlana.
Dear Ian: strange things happen sometimes - your comment was awaiting moderation (I have already approved it when I received it), but it was still "awaiting" with this little detail - "Left 42 years ago".
Maybe it just seems like 42 years when one is trapped i'm my "Micro-Environment".
By the way: One of your commenters mentioned testicles cringing - I remember when another Pakistani chum, Naveed, cooked me a special meal of kidneys & rice...

Well, I can't say I imagine the feeling of testicles cringing for the lack thereof... But I can't see those Fast Food Chains - wherever you go - it is the same. The last time I bought a cheese croissant (hoping it would be Ok) - it was disgusting.
On your 2nd sentence, did you mean to say "can say" instead of "can't see"..?
Maybe "can't see" it is such a Russian expression - it does not mean I am not capable of seeing, it means "I cannot stand seeing"... Our culture is the dictatorship of Fast Food Chains! I cannot stand the word CHAINS either.

Your right about healthy meals at home not having to be slow to cook. In fact a lot of people over cook vegetables and other nutritious items until most of the vitamins and nutrients are gone. Very good point.
I think Slow Food Movement is not about the speed of cooking per se - Slow Food is ANTI-movement - against Fast Food - Commercial Chains, standardized tastes, et cetera. It appears from the answers people are not familiar with the term yet.
