   Would you read a Hub on wierd foods people eat?
   
   Just wondering if anyone would actualy read this kind of information even if you can't do anything with i8t.

   I've seen loads of websites that feature weird and strange foods. 
   
   Think of it this way... Anthony Bourdain makes a living with his show No Reservations eating the strange and peculiar foods of the world that in some countries wouldn't even be touched.  I've seen the man eat everything including Rocky Mountain Oysters (Which is actually buffalo testicles).  I've even heard of strange foods like sannakji (live baby octopus), which is a Korean delicacy but many Westerners would be turned off to that.
   
   There are many resources on things like this, and huge interest.  There are even foodies out there that seek out the worlds most peculiar foods just to say they have been dining adventurous.
   
     I say go for the hub!  Someone out there is bound to benefit from it I'm sure.

      Thanks i might just go for it and get some fotos from my local market. I'm a foodie and i think that makes it even more interesting to see what others find tasty even if it is something i would not personaly try...or maybe i would, just the once.

   Probably not; However I sometimes watch - Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives, or, The Best Sandwich in 'America', or, Man Versus Food Nation, etc, for a good laugh as I see these people making their way across the USA, stuffing themselves silly with weird piles of fat and salt.

      Oh but this would be different to man-v-food we are talking volume we are talking what you would never see in Europe or the States. Food you would not think was edible. Interested?

      I think it would be hard to beat, urinating on a dog fish, burying it for a year, then serving it up for dinner, as used to be the practice in old Scandanavia.

   yes go for it, I will read it.   I love to eat strange foods, from fried grasshoppers  to chocolate covered honey bees to whale blubber, elephant , anything safe to eat

   I would if it were foods that interested me or were extremely unique! I sometimes watch the weird food shows on cable but I generally prefer to read everything instead of watching it.

   I did write a hub on this. It didn't/doesn't get vast numbers of views but those who read it seemed to enjoy it if the comments are anything to go by.  It was fun to write, too.

   I like reading about the unconventional things different cultures consider food.  If you write one, be sure to include lots of pictures.
