It depends on personal taste, but as well as Rosemary, Tarragon is a good addition to chicken, Thyme, Sage and Parsley can also be used. If you are not sure experiment a bit.
Personally I would not use Basil unless I was flavoring with garlic, tomatoes and onions, this will give an Italian feel so Oregano, Basil and Cilantro could be added to create the right blend. Do not be afraid to experiment a bit, until you find combinations and blends that suit your taste.
It is far better to use herbs and spices than salt and sugar to season dishes. Nothing is right or wrong, it is a question of suiting your palate. It is like choosing the right wines. There are guidelines to help in choosing, but no rules written in stone.
