   It's been so long since I've had home churned... It is really good. Plus you can make it however you like. I am abstaining from ice cream, however, until Blue Bell is back on the shelf. It's the best ice cream in the country ;-)

      Blue bell is quite tasty, I can't remember why they took it off the selves.

      Supposedly it's some sort of bacteria outbreak. I suspect it's some kind of sabotage stemming from corporate warfare. Whatever it is, a lot of people have lost their jobs, and I'm not getting my ice cream :'(

   Definitely homemade, there is no comparison.  Although I'll take some Ben and Jerry's in a pinch .

   I'm not sure how many people have time to make home churned ice cream this day and age. I would sure like to try some though. For now there are so many good store bought brands to go with like the Magnum bars, Ben and Jerrys, Eddys product line and so many more.

      You can get an electric maker and it's not that time consuming.  Mix ingredients night before and refrigerate, the next day you pour it in and it takes 30 minutes or so in a machine. (give or take depending on machine and the recipe).

   Homemade, definitely. The difference is significant, like the difference between store-bought and homemade mayonnaise.

   I have yet to find anything that store bought is as good or better than homemade. Ice cream is the biggest example of that I can think of, if i buy store brand ice cream I have to have a specific flavor, such as rocky road, or cookie dough. Homemade just chocolate is amazing and enough for me to enjoy myself, if you do by chance add extra ingridients in with the homemade ice cream it's like heaven on earth

   Store bought brands, but I try to always buy from Whole Foods which they make there in store. I think its delicious, less time-consuming than making it at home, and not as... unauthentic as buying at Stop and Shop... Or at least that's what I like to think.
