Cupcake Liners and Wrappers
Thanks for stopping by my Cupcake Club page
Some people bake cupcakes, and some people are cupcake artists
I am the one who has always just baked them, and yes, they were delicious but looked boring.
Being an artist in other areas I thought I would now take it to the next level and be more creative in decorating and displaying my cupcakes, so I started looking around for ideas, and found that there are some incredible cupcake liners or wrappers available to make my boring little cupcakes look amazing.
Allow me to share my finds with you, and how about taking YOUR cupcakes to another level?

My Grandmother whipped up the most delicious Butterfly cakes, and this is something that always brings back memories of being in her kitchen helping her with the baking when I was a child.
I would like to share with you a recipe for Butterfly Cupcakes because it is just the way Gran made them only in England the ingredients used self raising flour instead of plain flour and baking powder, so below the recipe I have provided a link to a site with the recipe, using the self raising flour.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup butter
- softened
- 1 cup superfine sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups plain flour
- sifted with 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- TOPPING
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup butter
- softened
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 320F/160C.
- Line a 12 cupcake tray with beautiful cupcake liners.
- In a medium sized bowl, lightly beat the eggs, add butter and sugar, then mix until light and fluffy.
- 2. Add milk, flour and baking powder and vanilla, and stir to combine. Beat with an electric mixer for 2 minutes, until light and creamy.
- 3. Divide the mixture evenly between the cake wrappers.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until risen and firm to the touch.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes and then transfer to a wire wrack to cool fully.
- TOPPING
- 1.Combine all topping ingredients, and mix with a wooden spoon.
- Beat with the spoon until light and fluffy.
- 2.You can put this mixture in a piping bag but if you don't have one, fill hole with a spoon then use a knife to smooth the cream.
- Using a sharp knife, cut a 2 inch circle into the center top of each cupcake slicing it off.
- Cut these circles in half and set aside, they are the butterfly wings.
- Fill the center of each cupcake with icing, and stand the two half circles of cake upright to form the wings.
- Dust with icing sugar (confectioners sugar)
- Here is the recipe from an Australian site where they use self raising flour like Gran did and they spiced it up with a passion fruit cream.

Print your own cupcake wrappers - What are wrappers?
Wrappers are a little different than cupcake liners. You decorate your cupcakes with the wrappers after they are baked, so what you could do is bake them in a plain blank liner, then dress them up with a fun wrapper. Just wrap the wrapper around your cupcake for a dressed up delicious treat.
